Welcome to the Adula, a family-run holiday hotel and seminar centre with a fabulous range of health and fitness facilities, and a wealth of activities for both summer and winter seasons. 'Allegra' is the friendly local greeting you can expect to hear from owners Peter and Francisca Hotz.

Adula and lakes

Flims also boasts four lakes: Caumasee, Crestasee, Prau Pulte and Prau Tuleritg. Lakes Cauma and Cresta both have bathing facilities with restaurants. Pedalos and rowing boats are available for hire on the Caumasee. An attractive funicular railway will whisk you down the final 150 m to the lakeside.

Residents of Flims-Waldhaus, Flims village and the neighbouring communities are most welcome to our GaultMillau-rated BARGA restaurant, to LA CLAV restaurant for genuine Swiss specialities, to LA MIRA health & fitness spa, to the hotel's own tennis courts and its bar for aperitifs and nightcaps. Our whole infrastructure is available for family celebrations, business meals and seminars.

Flims-Waldhaus nestles 1086 metres above sea level, on a south-facing plateau surrounded by forests and lakes. It retains its village character in regional style, with unspoiled architecture. The village is fully served by roads open through the winter and by public transport. It lies between Chur and Ilanz.
