Prau La Selva sports centre is a year-round training centre for professional ice skaters. The natural rink is open from October to April. This facility is also open to guests of the Hotel Adula. Ask at reception for the public opening hours. |

Guests at the Adula no longer have to queue at the mountain railway ticket office for their tickets or season tickets. Instead, they can order and pay for them at the hotel reception. |

Flims lower station is at an altitude of 1100 m, which means visitors needn't worry about the snow situation. The mountain railways of the Weisse Arena take you up to 3018 m, and 70% of the ski pistes are over 2000 m. When the weather is cold enough, the slopes are treated with artificial snow. In a vote two years ago, the canton approved the use and subsidy of snow cannon. |

In the winter season, Flims becomes one giant area for ski fans and snowboarders, with 220 km of easy, medium-difficulty and black pistes, children's amusement park, freestyle park, halfpipe and freeride route. Twenty-seven facilities lead to the Weisse Arena ski area. Guests at the Adula are conveyed by ski shuttle to the lower station in Flims village each morning, and collected again in the evening. Cross-country skiers have over 50 km of prepared pistes at their disposal. |

The hiking trails are prepared overnight daily throughout the winter, so that they are ready for trekking and walking from 10 a.m. next morning. Single-track trails lead up to the ski area and the popular mountain restaurants. |
