Adula – A Hotel for winter sports | |

Snow sports |

Flims is a huge area for skiers and snowboarders during the winter season with 220 kilometers of easy, medium and difficult trails, children’s playground, freestyle park, half-pipe, and freeride route. 27 lifts service the White Arena ski area. Adula guests can take the ski shuttle every morning to the base station in Flims-Dorf and return with the same each evening. |

Cross country |

A network of over 50 kilometers of groomed trails is maintained for cross-country skiers. The main trail traces a route over a challenging, rolling landscape through the forests in the villages of Flims-Dorf, Flims-Waldhaus and Trin Mulin. The separate Bargis trail is at 1600 meters above sea level in the high Bargis Valley. A second separate trail runs through the Sagogn area. |

Sledding |

Two prepared sledding trails offer enjoyment and fun. One sled trail runs from the Foppa Station to Flims-Dorf, and the other, from Curnius Station to Falera-Dorf. Both mountain stations can be reached by chairlift, and the length of the run for each facility is around 3 kilometers. The sledding trails are lit on certain days, and the restaurants stay open until late in the evening. Sleds can be let on the mountain and left at the end of the trail for collection. |

Curling |

Flims is one of Switzerland’s curling strongholds. The Flims women’s team represented Switzerland at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. The Flims-Waldhaus curling hall has 4 rinks, and is open from the beginning of October to the end of March. |

Snow move |

The hiking trails are prepared each day throughout the winter at night so that guests can set out on a hike or walk the following morning after 10 am. Individual hiking trails lead up to the popular restaurants in the ski bowls. |

Nordic Walking |

Nordic Walking poles and pedometers can be borrowed at no charge in the LA MIRA wellness center daily from 8 am to 8 pm. In addition, Nordic Walking trainers guide tours several times a week. Flims has signed Nordic Walking trails for every skill and condition level. |

Guaranteed Snow |

The Flims base station is at 1100 meters above sea level. The White Arena lifts take you up to 3018 meters above sea level, and 70% of the ski area is at 2000 meters above sea level or above. When it is cold enough, the trails to the base stations are covered with man-made snow. This season, the Stretg Downhill will also be covered. These trails make it possible for you to return to the valley at the end of the day. |
